Running the great north run, 2009

The Bupa Great North Run 2009, the world’s biggest half marathon, tooke place on Sunday 19th September between Newcastle and South Shields.

If I was slow during the “walk” I have been even slower in uploading the pictures….I have finally found time to put online some images of the events 2008 and 2009.

I wonder if Italians are racists…

It is saturday the 9th of January, I am doing some shopping in Varese, Northern Italy.

The previous day a series of riots in Rosarno (Calabria) have highlighted again Italian issues with immigration, integration policy and exploitation of clandestine migrants.

Passing by the editorial section of the supermarket….This is what I see:
